Artemis Center is currently in need of the items listed below. NO CLOTHING OR STUFFED ANIMALS PLEASE. Donations are accepted Monday-Friday from 10 am - 4 pm. For questions about drop off or donations e-mail Carly at carlyp@artemiscenter.org. Thank you!

Holiday Wish List (View)

  • Collapsible fabric storage cubes or baskets (found at Target, IKEA and Walmart)
  • Baby gates
  • Plastic child's play table
  • Women's deodorant, soap, body wash, toothbrushes and personal hygiene products (full size)
  • Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent and other household cleaning products
  • Support Group snacks (bagged pretzels, chips, pre-popped popcorn, cookies, drink mixes, etc.)
  • Food pantry items such as canned meats, canned fish, boxes of macaroni and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, peanut butter, canned fruit, canned drinks, canned soup, cake mixes and icing and individually wrapped snacks
  • Shampoo, body splash, perfume, conditioner and skin care products in a range of colors for women of all races (no sample sizes please)
  • Cell phones (please remove all personal information and SIM cards). Accessories are not necessary.
  • Gift cards to WalMart, Meijer or Kroger to meet emergency needs of clients and their children, in $10, $25 and $50 increments
  • RTA Bus Tokens, cab fare for clients, donations to Nancy Grigsby Survivor fund (which is used to help keep victims safe)
  • Convenience meals such as tuna salad kits, chicken salad kits, Easy Mac, etc.
  • Bottled water and drink mixes (Kool Aid, Crystal Light, etc.)
  • Diaper rash cream and baby wipes
  • Diaper bags, tote bags, adult backpacks and suit cases
  • Baby shampoo

Children's Program Wishlist (View)

PLEASE NO STUFFED ANIMALS (other than puppets).

  • Children's DVDs rated G
  • Puppets to symbolize various strengths and vulnerabilities such as danger, safety and protection, intelligence, manipulation, power, weakness, magic, fear, gentleness, laziness. We still need a bee, lamb, wizard, witch, fox, bear, dolphin, and community helpers.
  • Underwear for boys and girls age 3-5 (Just a few to have on hand for toileting accidents).
  • Used or New Sand Play Miniatures. Miniatures can be any object (often 1-4 inches tall) with symbolic meaning that children place in the sand to represent their feelings, experiences, relationships, family, and community. These can be found in toy departments, cake shops, craft stores, craft bazaars, garage sales, flea markets, dollar stores, thrift shops, and on the web. Below are suggested items available online:
