What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice.
1. Recommend a DAF grant through your financial institution or foundation
You can recommend a gift by contacting your financial institution or foundation or by granting online.
The grant will arrive at Artemis Center with only the fund’s name and address on it, unless you request otherwise.
Please contact Artemis Center at info@artemiscenter.org to inform us of your gift so that we can thank you for your generosity!
2. Contact your fund manager
Call your fund manager and recommend supporting Artemis Center, along with the amount of the grant.
Your fund manager will send a check directly to Artemis Center.
When granting through your DAF, please use the following information:

Stock Donations
Reasons to donate stock:
1. Save on your taxes by avoiding capital gains taxes, allowing you to take an income tax deduction.
2. Your gift is maximized! The money you would have spent paying taxes can go fully to Artemis Center.
3. It’s a win-win for you and survivors in our community!
Stock donations can be made easily through the Dayton Foundation, who will then direct the contribution to Artemis Center. You may also speak with your financial advisor to facilitate the stock donation.
